Another honour for Hastings

THREE days before they travel to Middlesbrough for their FA Cup third-round tie, Hastings United's televised replay victory over Harrogate in the previous round has earned them the Ryman Premier's Macron Team Performance of the Month Award.

It's the third time in four months that Hastings have lifted the prize. Previous FA Cup victories over Staines Town and Bishop's Stortford also attracted the judges' attention.

Heybridge take the award in Ryman North for their 11-0 win over Redbridge, completing an usual double.

They won the first award of the season for their 8-0 away win over the same opponents.

The Macron award for Ryman South goes to Ramsgate, who beat Maidstone 1-0 on Boxing Day. It was Stones' first league defeat since August.
