Another pair of Bees

Basildon add two from North Division rivals

Basildon United's rebuilding under new manager Alex Salmon continued with the signing of two players from North Division rivals Witham Town and Tilbury- although yesterday's postponed match meant that neither got into action for their new club.

Kye Jude came in from Witham. A defender, he has made eight appearances for the first team this season, scoring in the FA Cup victory over FC Clacton back in September. He previously played for Great Wakering Rovers and Southend Manor.

Billy Purdy came in from Tilbury. Another defender, Billy made his Dockers bow towards the end of last season, and has made four appearances this season, all coming from the bench.

Where next?

Worthing open up a gap, it's all change in the South Central, and- shock horror- the Jammers lose! The Terrors hit six, Westfield go top, and Tilbury do what nobody else has managed all season. It's our comprehensive round up of Saturday's action.
