Another pair of Saints

That's three Canonisations this week at Chalfont

Chalfont St Peter have been busy on the transfer front this week, today announcing another two new arrivals.

Owen James is a forward who you might have noticed was recently on loan at Bracknell Town- indeed he made five appearances for the Robins and scored three times, once against Harlow Town on the 16th November and twice against his new club in the Velocity trophy ten days previously. He heads to the Saints for six weeks from parent club Oxford United, for whom he made his professional debut in May last year. He has also had some loan time at National League South Oxford City.

The other arrival is a centre-back, Carl Pearce. Carl arrives on a dual-registration deal from from Chesham, and is looking to get some minutes under his belt after returning from illness. Isthmian League watchers might remember Carl from his time with Northwood- he was there last season- Wingate and Finchley or Potters Bar Town. He made forty one appearances for the Woods in the last campaign, and also played for the England representative XI that travelled to the Falkland Islands.
