Another pair of Seasiders

Felixstowe and Walton United have kept up their endless stream of signing news by announcing the arrivals of Lamell Howell from Brightlingsea Regent and Noel Atkins from Leiston.

Winger Lamell, who has also been known to turn out at full back, made twenty three appearances for the Premier Division side last season. That was his second spell with Regent, and he has also played for Stowmarket Town, Debenham Town and Brantham Athletic.

Midfielder Noel was part of the Leiston squad which played against the Seasiders in the Suffolk Premier Cup Final of 2019, played at Portman Road, home of Ipswich Town. Isthmian watchers, however, are more likely to recognise him from his four years at United's North Division rivals Bury Town. Noel reacted to his signing by saying: “I’m buzzing to join a club who I feel are taking steps in the right direction. I can’t wait to meet everyone and be a part of the playoff push!”
