Barking bring in a midfielder

Barking yesterday won their third league match in a row- their fourth in all competitions- and the eagle-eyed might have noticed that Steve Sardinha came on as a second half substitute as South Park were defeated by five goals to nil.

Sardinha started this season at Fetcham Grove, and made six appearances for Leatherhead as well as sitting on the bench five times. He also made an appearance for Justin Gardner's Blues in defeat to Tooting and Mitcham United earlier this month, but only today has he been announced by the club as a permanent signing.

He has previously played for Clapton, Walthamstow and Basildon United, as well as Dulwich Hamlet.
