Marcel Barrington signs on at Erith & Belvedere

Erith and Belvedere have announced the signing of Marcel Barrington.

Forward Marcel was perhaps the high point of Herne Bay's Pitching In Isthmian Premier season. He managed to score sixteen goals during his thirty eight matches on the Kent seaside last season.

At the end of the 21-22 season Marcel was announced as a member of our Pitching In Isthmian South East Team of the Year, after lighting up the season with Cray Valley PM. He scored twenty two Millers goals as they made it all the way to the Play Off Semi Final.

At the start of his career Marcel was a youth player with Stoke City, and also spent time with Leicester City. After leaving the Midlands he ended up at Walton Casuals, where he had two spells. He also played for Tooting & Mitcham United, Margate and Hendon, before stepping up to the National League with Braintree Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Concord Rangers, Dartford and Welling United.
