Basildon rebuilding begins

On Wednesday Basildon United's manager Alex Salmon began reshaping his squad, announcing the players who would be remaining with the club- here. There didn't seem to be enough left to field a team, so we expected some new arrivals, and last night the first three were announced.

All three new arrivals come from the manager's former club, Burnham Ramblers. They are Jamie Marsh, Adam Allen and Adedamola Adeyemi.

The players retained are Conor Mead (Captain), Conor Tyrell, Jimmy Cox, Joseph Paxman, Joe Turpin, Adam Vyse, Reece Price-Placid, Marlon Stratford, Louie Young and Albert Perry. Luke Jackson is also retained but out on loan.
