Bognor Burgess

Bognor Regis Town had a debutant from the bench early in the second half of their narrow defeat at Chatham Town on Saturday, as midfielder Matt Burgess joined the fray.

Matt moves to Nyewood Lane from AFC Bournmouth. He started his career as a youth at Brighton & Hove Albion, and after leaving the Amex joined up with the Cherries youth squad in 2017, going on to play for the Under 18's and Under 21's. He also had a loan spell at Slough Town last season, and previously had a loan spell down in Cornwall with Truro City.
