Bostik Supporters Predictions 18/19: Three Bridges

We asked supporters of our Bostik League clubs to preview the new season, reflect on the old and predict the final outcome. Their predicted 1-20 (or 22) will be worked into a final table which you will see just before the big kick off.

Stuart Russell gives you a brief tour of Three Bridges. If Southern Rail and Thameslink ever get their act together you might be able to get a train home afterwards, too!

1. What was your favourite moment of last season?

Winning 4-1 at title-rivals Haywards Heath Town with only ten men. An absolutely superb day.

2. And your worst moment?

Handing Heath the title with a 0-0 draw at Crawley Down Gatwick in the penultimate match.

3. How will you do this season?

We’ve added a few new players to last seasons squad, so hopefully we’ll not get involved in a relegation battle. Anything else is a bonus!

4. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?

We’re looking forward to Guernsey for the 5th time. Every time we go there we are asked, “where's the rest of your fans”- and we have to reply that it’s just the two of us! We always make a weekend of it, Guernsey is a great place.

5. What is your favourite away ground?

See above!

6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?

Perhaps East Grinstead. Their fans don’t seem to like us very much. They have this image of themselves as a big club, but I can promise you, they’re not!

7. What advice would you give to any away supporter visiting you for the first time?

Get here early- we have a great clubhouse. Once you arrive come and have a chat with me and Rupert, we’ll be there by half past one!

8. Who is your favourite player of all time (for your club)- and why?

All of the boys are great, especially our captain Jamie and our keeper Thorpie, but I have to say Johnny Lansdale. Every game home & away before kick-off he comes over to me and Rupert to shake our hands and thanks us for our support. It’s always appreciated.

9. Who will be in the top five at the end of the season?

Hastings United, Ashford United, Cray Wanderers, Hythe Town, Horsham.
