We asked a supporter from each of our member clubs to answer the same series of questions as part of our preview of the new season. We also asked them to predict how their particular division would finish, from one to 24- and their answers will be revealed in a collection of Supporters Prediction Tables to be released the day before the big kick off.
Here are the answers of Finley Chung, representing Cheshunt.
1. What was your favourite moment of last season?
It’s out of two! The Herts Charity Cup win or the 3-1 Victory against Maldon and Tiptree at home. Played them off the park, the whole team was brilliant.
2. And what was the worst moment?
Ware away, needed to win to stay in the playoff hunt, went down 4-1. Less said about that the better…
3. How will you do this season?
With the signings we’ve made, I believe we will have a strong season. Hopefully we’ll be sneaking into those playoff spots come April.
4. Which matches are you most looking forward to- and why?
All of the home matches! I’ll be writing the match reports for the forthcoming season so that’s a new chapter I cannot wait to start.
5. What is your favourite away ground?
Ware.
6. Who do you consider your biggest rivals- and why?
Ware, Waltham Abbey, Hertford Town, Enfield Town, Hoddesdon Town.
All due to geography!
7. What advice would you give to an away supporter visiting you for the first time?
Try the food! Buy a programme.
8. Who is your favourite player (for your club) of all time- and why?
I’m only 17 so I’ve a limited number to pick from! Over the last three seasons I’ve watched the Ambers it’s got to be Jason Hallett. The amount of games he has single handily pulled us through is amazing.
9. Finally, predict who will fill the top five positions at the end of the forthcoming season:
Maldon & Tiptree, AFC Sudbury, Canvey Island, AFC Hornchurch, Cheshunt.
