Brickies and Rooks

Sittingbourne and Lewes add to their ranks

Sittingbourne have had a rather sticky time of late, taking only two points from the last eighteen after initially starting the season impressively. Last night manager Aslan Odev looked to improve their goals per game ratio -the Brickies have scored only five in their last six League matches, and two of them came in defeat to Hythe Town- by bringing in striker David Smith on loan from Dover Athletic.

Smith, 19, signed a contract with Athletic only in July, and the club hope to have his registration completed in time for him to feature against Three Bridges today.

Lewes, meanwhile, whose form has been anything but sticky with four league victories from the last five, have signed Dayshonne Golding from Hastings United on a season-long loan, and he will be in their squad as a rejuvenated Haringey Borough turn up at the Dripping Pan today. A winger, Golding has been a long term target of Rooks boss Darren Freeman, and you can read more about his signing here.
