FA Cup First Round

Maidstone United are looking forward to banking a £33,750 television fee after their FA Cup replay against Stevenage Borough was chosen to be shown live on BT Sport.

After drawing 0-0 at Stevenage on Saturday, the Ryman Premier's Stones will also collect £18,000 from the FA's Prize Fund if they can overcome the League Two outfit next Thursday night (Nov 20) in a 7.45pm kick off at the Gallagher Stadium.

The sports channel announced on Tuesday that United's FA Cup First Round clash is one of two matches that they will televise next week with Aldershot Town versus Portsmouth screened on Wednesday.

If Maidstone United can beat Borough in front of the broadcaster's cameras and millions on TV, a trip to Wrexham awaits after Monday night's FA Cup Second Round draw was made live on BBC 2.
