Chalfont to start manager search- for the first time in 15 years

Long-serving manager to leave the Saints at seasons end

After 15 very successful years at the helm, Chalfont St. Peter AFC can confirm that Danny Edwards has announced that he will step down as Saints' manager at the end of the current season.
Danny was promoted to his position from that of Under-18 manager at the start of the 2004-05 season and has since guided the club to success on the field, including the Spartan Premier League title in 2011 and an FA Vase semi-final in 2009. Keeping the club at Step 4 for eight seasons is perhaps an even greater triumph.

A popular figure with players, officials and supporters, everyone at the club would like to thank Danny for the passion, loyalty and enthusiasm he has brought to his role and for the support he has given both on and off the pitch.

All at Chalfont St Peter- and all at the Bostik League- would like to wish Danny much success in all his future ventures in the game.

The club is now inviting applications for the position of First Team Manager for the position of first team manager for the season 2019/2020.

As a UEFA qualified coach, the successful candidate will be keen to work with, and promote, the development of young players. The Club, playing at Step 4, offers a very stable and supportive environment within which to work.
