Cobblah and Askew sign on for the Bees

Basildon United have announced the arrival of goalkeeper James Askew and midfielder Jerold Cobblah.

Jerold ended last season at Redbridge, after moving over from Ilford in the spring. James was previously with AFC Sudbury, where he made seven appearances last season, and famously saved three penalties in a Velocity Trophy shootout win over Coggeshall Town. he previously spent a little time with Witham Town.
