Cody for the Hawks

Connor Cody is the latest recruit at Whitehawk

Whitehawk have announced the signing of former Chichester City skipper Connor Cody.

Connor has been almost-ever present for City for their entire Pitching In Isthmian tenure. The defender played thirty four times last season, including twice against his new club- and scored the second goal in that frantic match between the sides on February 28th, when City sealed a four-one victory with two goals in added time after Whitehawek halved the arrears with six minutes remaining. He made fourteen appearances during 21-22, nine before the 20-21 campaign crashed to an early end, and thirty four before 19-20 went the same way.

Perhaps the highlight of his time in the Cathedral City would be that run to the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup in 2019-20, when the club defeated Erith Town, Briton Ropes, Chalfont St Peter, Hartley Wintney, Enfield Town and Bowers and Pitsea before finally falling to defeat against Tranmere Rovers.
