Forward Louis Collins arrives at Whitehawk

In the run up to Saturday's opening fixture, Whitehawk announced the signing of attacker Louis Colins, who ended last season at Folkestone Invicta. Louis started Saturday's defeat at Margate and played for seventy seven minutes.

Louis was on loan at Invicta, from Tonbridge Angels, for whom he signed last summer. He made thirteen appearances for the Stripes, and had also previously had a loan spell at Hastings United, where he made five appearances and scored- against Invicta.

Before moving to Tonbridge he spent some time with Margate, making seven appearances for Gate at the end of the 21-22 season. Prior to his time at Hartsdown Park he was turning out a step higher for one of Gate's local rivals, Dover Athletic.

He previously had two spells with Sevenoaks Town, and prior to that was with Scunthorpe United, and also played youth football with Millwall, Ebbsfleet United and Bromley. He scored 47 goals in 23 games with Ebsfleet's Under 15's, and was also top scorer as an Under 16 with Bromley, winning the Kent Youth League Golden Boot two seasons in succession before heading to Scunthorpe.
