The Wandsworth branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society is promising to advertise the club's fixtures as a thank you after the Terrors belied their nickname to lay on a five star welcome for members of the charity who were guests of honour at the KNK Stadium earlier this month.
Before seeing Frank Wilson's side draw 2-2 with Whitstable Town in Ryman South and being entertained in the boardroom, the group were treated to a tour of the stadium and its community facilities. Pictured with Terrors chairman Steve Adkins and the visit's organiser Steve Harold, most importantly, they left for home with a donation of £251.98, the proceeds of a bucket collection among generous fans.
In their letter to the south London club, Jack Wood, the leader of the charity's Wandsworth branch, wrote: "I cannot express too strongly our gratitude to you, your chairman, secretary, directors and supporters for the warmest welcome and care you showed us. It was truly heart warming."
