Congratulations to play-off winners Merstham!

Congratulations to Merstham's fans, players and officials on winning the Ryman South promotion play-off final on Saturday.

Hayden Bird's side clinched promotion to the Ryman League's top flight next season for the first time in their history with an emphatic 3-0 win at Folkestone Invicta's Fullicks Stadium.

The Ryman League's chairman and president Alan Turvey, together with his directors and officers, congratulate all at Moatside on their fantastic achievement and season of success.

The Moatsiders, who finished fourth in the table, took an early sixth minute lead in front of a crowd of 1,465 through Taurean Roberts. Folkestone, who ended the campaign in runners-up spot, fell two behind right on the stroke of half-time to a Tutu Henriques effort before Fabio Saraiva struck with a free-kick six minutes after the break.
