East Thurrock legend returns to the game- as a Miller

It seems only three weeks since we were saying goodbye to East Thurrock United boss John Coventry, as he stepped down from the Rocks helm after six hundred and sixty six competitive matches. It seems only three weeks...because it was only three weeks, but already he's had enough rest and last night was announced as the newest member of the Aveley management team!

John will be part of manager Keith Rowland's backroom team, and his arrival was welcomed by Chief Executive Craig Johnson, who spoke to the Aveley website:

"I'm pleased that John has agreed to join the management team. John is a great addition to our backroom staff bringing an additional dynamic to what I believe is already a great team. I'm delighted he has agreed to join us and help to take our club forward."
