Lancing boss Dean Cox resigns his post, along with his management team

Lancing have announced the departure of manager Dean Cox, along with his management team of Will Hendon, Steve Carlberg and Ross Ball.

According to the club website, Dean tended his resignation yesterday.

He joined the club in December, and succeeded in steering them to safety and a best ever thirteenth place in Pitching In isthmian South East. Prior to his time at Culver Road, he spent the 21-22 season helping Worthing to a Pitching In Isthmian Premier title triumph, making twenty nine appearances as the Mackerel Men, managed by his former Brighton and Hove Albion team mate Adam Hinshelwood, triumphed by ten points and scored one hundred goals.

Dean spent the previous few years elsewhere in Sussex, turning out for Eastbourne Borough in the National League South. He moved to the Sports from Crawley Town, but was better known for his time with Leyton Orient- more nearly three hundred appearances- and at Brighton and Hove Albion, where he played almost two hundred times.
