Jamie Coyle appointed new manager of Ramsgate

Pitching In Isthmian South East promotion-chasers Ramsgate surprisingly parted company with boss Steve Lovell earlier this week- but they've moved quickly to bring in a replacement, and last night announced defender Jamie Coyle as their new manager.

Jamie joined the Rams last season as a player, making thirty nine appearances as the side narrowly missed out on the play offs. He has made another twenty one appearances this season.

Jamie has plenty of previous management experience. he was co-manager at Dartford and Player-Manager at Welling United, and, closer to home, he was Player/Assistant Manager at Margate under Jay Saunders.

He started his career as a youth with Crystal Palace, and has also appeared for the likes of Dulwich Hamlet, Leatherhead, Sittingbourne, Maidstone United and Hythe Town.
