By Ian Townsend

A new boss in the North Division

Gorleston announced that Darren Cockrill is their new boss- shortly before their side travelled to Heybridge Swifts last night.

As a player, Darren was an uncompromising defender who played for the Greens and captained Lowestoft Town- scoring the winning goal in the Suffolk Premier Cup final in April 2009, and leading his side to a league and cup double.
