Dash departs

Northwood manager leaves the club after latest heavy defeat

Earlier today Northwood confirmed that manager Scott Dash has left the club, following last night's 8-2 defeat at Chertsey Town in the South Central Division.

Dash, who took the hotseat back in December, steered the side to a tenth place finish last season- but he has been unable to halt a decline that has seen them win only one league match so far this campaign. Last night's hammering by the Curfews followed only three days behind a six-one home defeat to Waltham Abbey, and sees Woods sit in seventeenth position.

The club are already inviting applications from those wishing to be Dash's replacement. Applicants should send a football CV, together with a brief summary as to why they believe they are suitable for this important role at the club, to Chairman Ian Barry on ibarry@pathfindergtm.com, copying in Secretary Alan Evans on alan.evansnfc@btopenworld.com.
