Leiston officials have congratulated defender Blake Saker for notching up his 350th appearance for the Ryman Premier's Blues on Saturday.

The 33-year-old, pictured, first arrived at Victory Road back in 2003 and reached the milestone in Saturday's 1-1 draw with AFC Hornchurch at Bridge Avenue.

Despite brief spells away at Brantham Athletic, Felixstowe & Walton United and Lowestoft Town, the popular former Spurs trainee has been a key member of the Blues squad over seven seasons, helping them win the Eastern Counties League and another promotion to the Ryman League's top flight from Ryman North.

A Blues spokesman said: "Congratulations to Blake on achieving a huge appearance landmark."
