Declan Kama makes a wining start for Basildon United


Basildon United gave a debut to defender Declan Kama in Saturday's win over Grays Athletic.

Declan started his career as a youth with Dundee United, and then went on to play for Tranmere Rovers and Dartford. At our level he spent some time with Heybridge Swifts and, during the 21-22 campaign, was briefly with Whitehawk in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, making seven appearances. He moved on to VCD Athletic, where he made sixteen appearances at the start of last season, and at the tail end of last season made six appearances for Witham Town, scoring once.

He has played a couple of times for Corinthian-Casuals recently.

Amongst his other clubs are Ilford, Harwich & Parkeston and Welling Town.
