Cambridge youngster arrives as a loan Magpie

Dereham Town had a new name in their number four shirt for their win at Witham Town on Saturday, after Joe Tarpey arrived on loan from Cambridge United.

Manager Adam Gusterson told the club website:

"We are pleased to welcome Joe to Dereham and to have him with us for the next month. He comes highly recommended by Jimmy Unwin at Cambridge Utd who we thank for his help in getting this done. Joe will be a welcome addition to our squad over what is a busy month ahead."

Joe was part of the United Youth side who reached the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup, bowing out against Nottingham Forest earlier this month.

The midfielder's loan is for one month.
