Dockers add another

Tilbury's squad strengthening continues, as they announced the signing of former East Thurrock United midfielder Lee Burns.

Lee, 37, has made more than seven hundred appearances, mainly for East Thurrock United- where he originally signed as a teenager- and Dartford. He was an enormous success at both clubs, playing in the National League and attaining legendary status. He also spent some time at Braintree Town, and a little in Australia, but it's for his time with the Rocks and the Darts that he will be remembered.

He made the bench for the Rocks just once this season, against Haringey Borough, as he has been suffering from injury- but Dockers manager Marc Harrison has confirmed that he is now fully fit once more and raring to go.
