Tonbridge Angels are hoping to see striker Harrison Tweddell back in action for them in the Ryman League after he asked to take a break from football.

The 18-year-old, pictured, signed on at the Longmead Stadium at the start of the season and told manager Steve McKimm he wanted to stop playing to concentrate on his career outside of football.

He left the Ryman Premier club on Friday along with another striker, former reserves hot-shot Owen Kabodi who has gone on loan to Ryman North Brentwood Town.

In a statement confirming the departure of former Dagenham & Redbridge frontman Tweddell, the club said: "We of course respect Harrison's decision and the door is always open for a return. We wish 'H' the best of luck with his career, thank him for his efforts for the club, and hope at some stage to see him back wearing an Angels shirt."
