Double Bedfont

Antonio Dembele and Mohammed Otuyo are New Year arrivals at Bedfont Sports

Bedfont Sports are- as we write- the only one of our clubs to use New Years Day for squad strengthening, as they have announced the arrivals of Antonio Dembele and Mohammed Otuyo.

Antonio, a forward, started this season at Tooting & Mitcham United, making five appearances. He was at Pitching In Isthmian South Central champions Bracknell Town for part of last season, before moving across to the Southern Premier to play for Harrow Borough, who he left at the end of the campaign. He has also turned out for Thatcham Town, Camberley Town, Ascot United, Banstead Athletic and Leatherhead, after spending time with AFC Wimbledon.

Mohammed, a goalkeeper, has been with Merstham this season, making thirteen appearances- and has more recently turned out for Corinthian-Casuals. Amongst his previous clubs are Barking, Sittingbourne, Brentwood Town, South Park and North Leigh.

Where next?

Can the Woods extend their lead- and continue their home dominance? Each of our leading South Central clubs have suffered their slip ups of late- which leaves Northwood with a four point lead. Can the chasing pack narrow the gap?
We’ve bottom v top- and more! The Yellows and the Tags both travel to face struggling sides, we've third v sixth as Stow host the Seasiders, and a Thurrock derby as we enter the new North Division year
