Two signings from our Team of the Season as Nathan Green and Ryan Scott move to Hornchurch

Hornchurch have announced the capture of two of our Pitching In Isthmian Premier Team of the Season, as Nathan Green moves up from Folkestone Invicta and Ryan Scott- who scored the winning goal against them in the Play Off Final just over a month ago- arrives from Aveley.

Full back Nathan has been in a Team of the Season for two years in a row, although this time last year that team was from Pitching In isthmian South East, as he was at Cray Valley PM. He was snapped up by Invicta last summer, and had a fine campaign, making forty six appearances and also contributing six goals.

Nathan started his career at Croydon Athletic, and has also turned out for the likes of Lewes, Billericay Town, Tonbridge Angels, Dagenham & Redbridge, St Albans City, Dartford, Margate, Dulwich Hamlet and Welling United.

He was a big part of the Hamlet side which won promotion from the Isthmian Premier in 2017-18, playing in the Play Off Final victory against Hendon and making another thirty two appearances, scoring seven goals- including one in a four-three victory against his new club at Champion Hill.

Ryan was magnificent for the Millers last season, playing forty six times in the centre of that promotion-winning defence, and contributing seven goals at the other end- including that final day clincher. That followed thirty five appearances- and another seven goals- as his side became Pitching In Isthmian North champions the season before.

Ryan joined the Millers from Braintree Town. He had lots of Isthmian experience, with Wingate and Finchley, Billericay Town and East Thurrock United, before moving into National League South- first with the Rocks, then later with Concord Rangers and Braintree.
