Ipswich Wanderers had two new names in their first team as they took on Witham Town on Saturday- and both Jamahl Godward and Cameron Forde-Brown played their part in their sides second victory of the week.
Jamahl was defeating one of his former clubs. He played for Witham Town last season, making twenty five appearances and scoring three goals- following twenty six with one goal during the 21-22 campaign. He was previously with Needham Market, where he played Under 18 and reserve football in the main, and previously spent some time as a youth with Colchester United.
He ended last season at Maldon & Tiptree, playing eight times in defence and midfield.
Cameron has joined the club on loan from Kings Lynn Town, and will be at the club until the end of the year. He came through the ranks at Southend United, and the 21-22 season saw him spend some time on loan at AFC Sudbury, where he made eight appearances, scoring in the first one. Last season he played three times at Coggeshall Town, and also turned out for Marlow, signing his first contract with the Linnets last month.
