Hampton & Richmond Borough manager Alan Dowson reckons he's striker Charlie Moone's number one fan.

Dowson hailed his hot-shot after seeing the 25-year-old score his 100th and 101st goals for the club in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Hendon in the Ryman League's top flight.

Last season's Ryman League golden boot winner twice pulled his side level at the Beveree to rescue a point for Dowson who said: "There's no bigger fan then me and I'm delighted for Charlie."

Former Woking academy captain Moone scored over 40 goals last season, including 34 in the Ryman Premier, and also won the fans' vote for their player of the year.

In total, the marksman has now scored 101 goals in 177 starts and 37 sub appearances since first arriving at the club in August 2010 and then returning last year after a spell at Boreham Wood.

Hampton & Richmond Borough's press officer Rob Overfield added: "He's only the fourth player to reach that landmark since the club became a senior level club in 1959 and the first to do since the early 70s."
