Metropolitan Police manager Jim Cooper has brought Nigel Neita and Jordan Bird back to the Ryman Premier club.

Jamaican international Neita and former reserve team captain Bird both signed on for second spells at Imber Court on Tuesday.

Former Arsenal youngster Neita has returned from top flight rivals Billericay Town, who he joined in September from Dulwich Hamlet. After being released by the Gunners last year, Neita was on trial at Scunthorpe United and Swindon Town before signing for the Met.

The wide midfielder was an unused substitute on Tuesday night when the Met secured their first away win of the season with a 2-0 victory at Wingate & Finchley.

Bird is a product of the Met`s own youth team and skippered the club`s second string for two seasons before making several senior appearances. He left in January 2014 in search of more regular first team football to join Cray Wanderers.
