Easter delivery is first priority

Billericay Town's staff and players took time out from preparing to host Enfield Town in the Ryman League's top flight on Saturday for an Easter delivery to sick children at Basildon General Hospital.

Joint managers Glenn Tamplin and Justin Gardner and the Blues squad are pictured popping into the hospital on Friday to deliver Easter eggs to staff and youngsters in the children's wards.

Tamplin and Gardner also had a new face alongside them for Saturday's clash with the Towners at New Lodge after naming Harry Wheeler as the club's new head coach after a day after he stood down as joint caretaker manager at Welling.

Wheeler, who left the National League South's Wings on Friday, was unveiled on Saturday morning before taking his place on the touchline alongside Tamplin and Gardner as the Blues lost 4-2 to Enfield Town.
