Edwards boxing clever on new show

By David Watters

Former Billericay Town manager Craig Edwards pulls no punches on Monday night's Ryman Round-up Show.

The former boxer, who left New Lodge last week after seven years at the helm, pictured, was a guest alongside Walton Casuals boss Anthony Gale and the Non-League Show's Dave Anderson on the latest live broadcast on Facebook. Recorded between 7 and 9pm, the show is now available as a podcast on Audioboom and iTunes.

Recorded this season on Monday nights after switching from Thursdays, the Ryman Round-up show now has its own channel on YouTube and has been regularly attracting more than 2,000 viewers and listeners, one recent episode pulling in more than 3,500 combined hits.

Launched with the backing of the Ryman League during the 2013-14 season, the two hour live phone-in made its comeback in November with then new Leatherhead boss Jimmy Bullard as its first star guest.

Since then, hosts David Square, ex-Brentford and current Thurrock star Glenn Poole and VCD Athletic manager Keith McMahon, have been joined in the studio at the Harlow Arena by Ryman League chairman Nick Robinson and a host of managers, players and officials.
