Boardroom changes at Brentwood Town

Brian steps down, Jez steps up


Brentwood Town Football Club yesteday announced some changes in the day-to-day running of the club. Chairman Brian Hallett has decided to stand down after 15 years as Director of Football and the last 10 years as Chairman. He has been at the Club for nearly 23 years and was the first youth team manager, bringing an Under-18s side to the Club in the Eastern Junior Alliance League, and then going on to be Youth Development Officer for all the youth teams until his appointment as Director of Football.

Brian will be succeeded as Chairman by Jez Dickinson who will be supported by David Park as Vice Chair, with Gary Waplington taking the role of Director of Football. Jez, Dave and Gary will not be new faces to Brentwood having been involved in running youth teams, and Gary has also been a committee member for several years.
