Four new Rocks

East Thurrock United announce Shaye La-Rose, Amaree Robinson-Jones, Darnell Kithambo and Haziz Kone

East Thurrock United yesterday announced four new arrivals as they prepare for the Pitching In Isthmian North Division season.

Former Norwich City youth midfielder Shaye La-Rose comes in from Great Wakering Rovers, where he played eighteen times last season.

Shaye was a former Under 16 player for Norwich City- if you search the internet you'll find an image of him, aged fifteen, playing for the Canaries in the 2015 Foyle Cup in Ireland, against Glenavon. Since then he's been in the Bowers & Pitsea squads at Under 18 and Under 23, and played for Hullbridge Sports and Basildon United.

Amaree Robinson-Jones moves over from Witham Town, and can play in midfield or further forward. He made twenty six appearances last season, and previously played for Hackney Wick.

Forward Darnell Kithambo came through the Academy at Boreham Wood, making his first team debut in December 2019. He has also played for Ilford and Clapton, before moving on to sign for Leatherhead in October last year, playing four times and almost getting lost amongst the eighty six players the Tanners used last season. He ended the campaign at Great Wakering Rovers, playing eighteen times and scoring on six occasions.

Midfielder Haziz Kone played seven times for Brentwood Town last season. He has also played for Harlow Town at senior and reserve level, and for Walthamstow.
