Late secretary mourned by many

League chairman Nick Robinson has sent the Ryman League's condolences to Maldon & Tiptree as the Jammers mourn the death of Jammers secretary Phil Robinson.

The club's secretary since its formation in 2010 until a few seasons ago and also the secretary at Maldon Town & Tiptree United, the official passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning after being taken ill on Sunday.

Saddened official at the Essex club paid tribute to their stalwart, pictured, in a statement on their website and on Twitter saying their home at the Wallace Binder Ground would never be the same again.

The Jammers wrote: "It goes without saying that football was Phil's life and he always enjoyed himself when supporting Maldon Town, Tiptree United & Maldon & Tiptree from the terraces, at both home and away games.
