Rather unsurprisingly, our Manager of the Season Awards- courtesy of Vita Risk Solutions- go to the managers of our four champions.
Bishop’s Stortford won the Premier title by four points, and had the best defensive record in the league, which bodes well for next season in National League North (or South!). Many congratulations to Steve Smith.
Manager of the Season 22-23: Dan Brownlie, Basingstoke Town
Hashtag United (headline image) were almost unstoppable in the North Division, scoring more than one hundred goals and almost reaching the one hundred points mark. Our congrats go to Jay Devereux.
In the South East Division newly promoted Chatham Town impressively made it two promotions in a row, were unbeaten at home, and won the title by seven points. Very well done to Kevin Hake.
We had a Battle Royale in the South Central Division, with Basingstoke Town coming out on top in the last possible moment- but Stoke then won two cup competitions to end the season with an unprecedented treble! A superb season, congrats go to Dan Brownlie.
The best of luck to all four managers- and their sides- next season.
