Burgess Hill Town took time off from trying to raise money for their floodlights- head here for details- to announce a pair of new signings yesterday, as Max Blencowe and Reece Wiliams-Bowers joined the club.
Max, a defender, moves over from Lancing, where he has been playing since October last year, initially on a dual-registration basis which we believe was courtesy of Lewes- certainly he was listed as a Rook when picked as an England Schoolboy international. Prior to moving to Culver Road he made a handful of appearances for Whitehawk, and now he will be playing against them!
Reece is a midfielder, who made seven appearances for East Grinstead Town towards the end of last season. He joined the Wasps from South Park, and previously played for Lewes, Leatherhead and Kingstonian, after joining the Rooks from the AFC Wimbledon Academy.
