The winners of the October Mitre Manager of the Month Awards have just been announced, and the three deserving recipients are as follows:
Premier Division- Gavin Rose, Dulwich Hamlet.
During October league-leaders Hamlet won four of their five league matches (drawing the other), and also progressed in the FA Trophy and Velocity Trophy. This included two four-nil victories, over Harlow Town and Merstham.
North Division: Neal Simmons, Dereham Town.
Gary Alexander
Currently two points clear in the North Division, Neal's Magpies have won all four of their League matches during October, and removed the unbeaten record from AFC Hornchurch when they travelled to Bridge Avenue and came away with all three points on 24th. They also defeated Potters Bar Town, Mildenhall Town and Cheshunt.
South Division: Gary Alexander, Greenwich Borough.
Gary's fancied Borough side moved up ominously to third place during October, courtesy of victories over Corinthian-Casuals, Ramsgate, South Park and Carshalton Athletic, along with a draw at fellow promotion chasers Whyteleafe. It was a month that also saw highly rated young striker Jack Barham go on trial with Alexander's former club Millwall.
Congratulations to all of our winners! Safe Hands and Performance of the Month awards to be announced over the next few days.
