Burgess Hill Town have announced the signing of long-serving Bognor Regis Town midfielder Dan Beck.
Beck, who recently intimated that he was going to remain with the Rocks, has- according to Nyewood Lane manager Jack Pearce- made the move to cut down on his travelling. Hillians manager Ian Chapman is delighted with his capture, telling the Mid Sussex Times:
"Dan's a lad I've always admired and he's a really good footballer, technically really good. I'm absolutely delighted that he's coming aboard and he'll be a big player for Burgess Hill football club. He'll bring quality and experience, he's got it all."
Beck joins another recent teammate, Gary Charman, at the Green Elephants Stadium, whilst James Crane and Ollie Pearce left for Worthing earlier in the summer. Only nine of last seasons squad remain at Nyewood Lane, where Brighton & Hove Albion Under 23's are tonight's pre-season visitors.
