Essex Rocks turn to Brown

East Thurrock United have announced the signing of Colchester United winger George Brown.

Isthmian Premier Division fans will perhaps think the name is familiar, and they'd be right. He made twenty three appearances on loan at Margate last season, scoring three goals- which came in consecutive matches against Kingstonian, Bishop's Stortford and Potters Bar Town in late November/early December.

He previously spent some time on loan with the Rocks, making his debut in September 2017, and also turned out for Maldon & Tiptree in the North Division, scoring four goals in twelve appearances.
