FA Cup Friday

We have FA Cup Preliminary Round fixtures across the entire weekend, and the action starts tonight, as Southall welcome Peacehaven & Telscombe.

Southall currently share with Ashford Town and the Robert Parker Stadium, as they continue their fight for a home of their own. After defeating Redhill in the last round- after a replay- they've started the Pitching In Isthmian South Central season with a win at Merstham and a defeat against Uxbridge.

You may remember the visiting Magpies from their time as an Isthmian league club. Under manager Shaun Saunders, these days at Whitehawk, they went from the Sussex County League to our Premier Division in two seasons, before hitting a financial crisis and falling back to the Sussex County League- these days the SCFL- as quickly as they'd arrived. Now entirely fan owned, they've had a very positive start to the season, defeating AFC Croydon Athletic in the last round and sitting at the top of the League, with three wins and ten goals from their three matches so far.

Kick off is at 7.45 PM.
