Fallon returns to Stutes

Former Soham Town Rangers boss Steve Fallon is back at Evo-Stik Southern League Histon.

Fallon, who stood down at the Ryman North club earlier this month, returned to the club where he made his managerial name on Wednesday.

During his three and half years at Julius Martin Lane, Fallon, pictured, recorded the club’s best ever league finish and also reached three Cambridgshire Invitation Cup finals, winning the trophy in 2014.

On Fallon's advice, Rangers named senior players Robbie Nightingale and Dave Theobald as their new joint managers following his exit.

During his 11 years at Histon from 1999 to 2010, Fallon led the Stutes into the Football Conference and to the brink of promotion to the Football League in 2009.
