Jake Baxter signs on at Westfield

Two days ago we read the surprise announcement that striker Jake Baxter had departed Chertsey Town- and last night he was announced as a new arrival at Westfield.

Jake has been part of the Curfews enormous success story for five seasons, scoring an incredible one hundred and eleven goals in one hundred and fifty one appearances. He has helped his side to Combined Counties League promotion, an FA Vase win in which he scored in the Final at Wembley, and, last season, to the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Play Off Final, a topsy-turvy match which ultimately ended in unlikely heartbreak for the Curfews.

He has scored eight goals so far this season, and now brings his firepower to Woking Park. Westfield host Hanworth Villa tomorrow, and a match to put in the diary is the visit of the Curfews on Easter Monday.
