Former England boss takes over at the Jammers

Maldon & Tiptree today announced their new manager- and he has rather an impressive pedigree.

Peter Taylor managed Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion, Hull City, Southend United, Wycombe Wanderers and many more, most recently taking charge of Welling United in National League South.

As a player, he was a full England international, and played club football for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Leyton Orient and Southend United.

He also had a spell in charge of the national side, a one game caretaker stint, and he has also managed the Under 21 and Under 20 sides, as well as spending time as Assistant Manager of New Zealand.
