Four for the E's

Folarin Awoleke, Ben Wyss, George Edgeworth and Callum Taylor are new at Enfield


Enfield announced a number of new signings prior to Saturday's match at Felixstowe and Walton United.

Folarin Awoleke has made six appearances for Witham Town this season. The defender was at VCD Athletic at the end of last season, and has previously played for Kempston Rovers, Long Buckby and Desborough Town.

Another defender, Ben Wyss, started the campaign at East Thurrock United and had played three times before the Rocks campaign, and indeed sadly the club, came to an end. He also made fourteen appearances in the latter stages of the 22-23 season, after first playing for the club in Pitching In Isthmian Premier, making forty nine appearances during 21-22, joining the club from Ipswich Town, where he had been part of the Academy and played for the Under 21 side.

He also had a spell with Brentwood Town, playing eight times last season.

Goalkeeper George Edgeworth was actually making his fourth appearance for the E's on Saturday. He was previously with Sawbridgeworth Town, and played youth football for Stevenage.

Callum Taylor came in from Heybridge Swifts. The defender was a big part of Swifts run to the Play Off Final last season, making twenty eight appearances, and has played another nine times this season. He previously played for Grays Athletic, Royston Town, Welwyn Garden City and East Thurrock United.
