Four Woods

A quartet arrive at Northwood

Northwood's match with Marlow might have been called off on Saturday, but there was no shortage of action away from the pitch as the club brought in four players.

The first two arrived from Potters Bar Town, as Joakim Ehui and Yiannis Constantinou signed on.

Joakim is a winger who has made five appearances for the Scholars this season but has spent most of it warming the bench, so will be looking for some game time. He previously played for Harrow Borough, Chalfont St Peter and Harlow Town- but he is also a Woods old boy, as he spent four seasons with them earlier this decade.

Yiannis, a forward, was at Staines Town last season but is a former youth player at West Ham United. He has made four appearances for the Scholars.

The other two signings come from fellow South Central clubs. Dajour McIntosh-Buffonge arrives from Ware, after making six appearances for the Blues-but only four starts. A defender, he previously played for Hertford Town, Congleton Town and the marvellously-monikored Glossop North End, amongst others.

Jordan Payne moved over from Chalfont St Peter. Jordan, another defender, previously played for Hendon and Harrow Borough, and has made fifteen appearances for the Saints this season, the last one on November 30th.
