We've a local derby as Basildon United entertain Brentwood Town

We've only one match tonight, but it will undoubtedly be well worth watching! Eleven miles separate Basildon and Brentwood by road, whilst ten points separate them in the table.

Town travel in sixth place, knowing that victory could take them as high as second place- but most likely third, as current second place side Grays Athletic have a significantly superior goal difference. The hosting Bees start the day in fifteenth, but could end it in twelfth.

The visitors are in fine form, having won their last five matches- including a two-nil home win over the Bees three weeks ago, when first half goals from George Craddock and Tom Richardson did the damage. Basildon, in contrast, have gone five without a win- but were impressive when drawing two-two with AFC Sudbury last Saturday.

The Blues have won their last three meetings, doing the double last season. That said, the Bees won the previous three.

The match kicks off at 7.45 PM.
